The United States just had a presidential election. For some, they let out a big sigh of relief. For others they feel that the sky is falling. 

Many people have had extreme reactions. From deleting friends on social media, to even some women shaving their heads in protest, people have lost their collective minds. I honestly don’t understand how divisive people have let politics become. It is as if Americans have forgotten we can have different political opinions and still be friends. People have adopted the notion that political ideas are who we are as humans, and it is as sad as it is ignorant. 

I blame the mainstream media and its fear mongering and blatant lies. I try not to think too hard about it- how mainstream new channels and media get away with so much slander because it infuriates me.  Why are these channels, companies, and etc not being sued and fined within an inch of their lives? Where’s the justice for a fair, investigative media? How do these pathological liars that call themselves “journalist” or anchors in newsrooms sleep at night ? 

I also blame soical media. One of the biggest faults of technology was the creation and spread of social media. We have become so addicted to it and let it control too many aspects of who we are. People depend on likes, comments and posts to feel validated. People over share nonsensical opinions or purposely offensive opinions because they know it will get them views. We compare each other to fake worlds people have created online to make themselves feel better while we feel like we are not enough. 

It is insanity at its best. 

I also believe our crappy education system is to blame. Americans are known across the world to be uneducated about world history and their own government. People often forget that our government has a checks and balance system. People often believe in these radical ideals that are pushed by media, celebrities, and talking heads that they don’t stop to think rationally. I don’t believe public education pushes critical thinking anymore and you can tell by how uneducated a lot of Americans are and act. Many Americans can’t tell you the term lengths of government positions much less know who their governors or senators are for their state. And these are the same people who you see on social media screaming about fascism and their “rights”. 

No one wants to see the big picture. 

So let me spell it out for you. 

Regardless of who is in office, there is one fact that remains. 

A strong America makes a calm world.

Just look at the past four years and the rest of the world. Wars. Wars everywhere. Death and destruction, and the US has had weak leadership, even if you don’t want to admit it.

It is undeniable. When America isn’t respected, the bullies of the world attack. They may not attack the US head on, but they attack others in the world. 

Just look the recent election results. Since the election of our president- one who we have had in the past, and who has stated he’s not afraid to go to war with bullies, both current countries actively in war have stated they are open to peace talks. Our newly elected president hasn’t even taken an official step into office yet and he’s already leaving that type of impression? 

That should speak for itself. 

A prosperous US makes a happy American people, better government, and calmer world. It may not be perfect- but millions of innocents and children aren’t being blown up either, so I don’t know about you, but I’ll take what I can get.  

I’m just so frustrated by how so many people are so blinded by what’s in front of them and a choosing to blatantly ignore the corruption around them. It is not even a secrete anymore and it’s not that hard to see. 

Medical data and studies are showing the government and health industry is horribly corrupt and actively poisoning us, celebrities and other rich individuals are finally getting their dues with criminal actions being taken against them for their heinous crimes they thought they could commit behind closed doors, main stream media is falling in views and there’s a general distrust to anything they say because people are finally waking up to their crap. So how can some of the American people not see this? 

There is a change coming whether we want it or not. Some think it’s the end of freedom, which is ironic considering there’s been a war on the freedom of speech and the suppression of truth for awhile now. Some, like me, are looking forward to a future with a strong leader who is making the rest of the world take a much need pause before they act, and is also looking forward to a country of healthier individuals who aren’t being governed by corrupted, greedy humans. 

Because yes, President Trump won this election. But multiple other people won as well. If he places who most people think he will be placing in positions of leadership, we might make it out alright. A leader is only as good as his workers around him, and I pray to God that he makes the best decision based off the people who are the best to work instead of who may be in his ear telling him what to do. 

Overall I think people just want to be left alone. We are tired of being yapped at. We also need to get off our phones, computers and turn off our TVs and go outside. No matter where you go there’s always a ‘sky is falling’ narrative or someone freaking out, and people just want peace. 

Well peace and to be able to afford some damn groceries.
