Live Metanoia

I often think on how consumptive human beings are. How we have mined the earth for its precious metals and we put value on shiny stones and rocks. How we have consumed things completely and totally and diamonds while shiny, are a nasty blood sport. I Often wonder why we have placed value on such insignificant things that do nothing to better our lives and well-being.

For some reason these ideas make me think of the deadly sins of gluttony, lust, and envy. How we must take, how we must own, how we feel when someone has something that we don’t and now we want it.

It’s strange when you think about it in an unbiased fashion. The concept of us taking, and taking, and taking from each other, from ourselves, and from the planet that we have. You know, the only planet we currently live on. How we abuse it and the other creatures and things that live on it.

It’s weird to know how selfish humans inherently are. How we don’t care about the deforesting of the earth, the habitats, and ecosystems of other animals and destroying plant life. How our fishing industry has changed the oceans irrevocably and the Marine life suffer every day due to our ignorance and selfishness. It’s weird to know how powerful human beings are and theres an option of being able to change the world, but refusing to do so due to greed. Honestly it baffles me.

I honestly don’t understand how such powerful countries like the Untied States can deviously continue to cause harm to its self and others. How people in places of power are so completely consumed by cruelty and selfishness that to go help their fellow man would be considered egregious and they would not dare.

Because we all know the truth behind our people in power. That curtain of lies has been set fire too. We now can see through its tattered remains. Powerful people want the masses scared and controlled. So they keep us misinformed with the wrong information and they keep us sick with chemically processed foods and medications that mask symptoms. To be healthy and strong is too much. To be knowledgeable and educated would make you a force to be reckon with.

So instead we the masses are blindsided by what’s new, what’s shined, and what celebrities have been paid thousands to promote as cool. We sit idly by as our world, our selves, and our future decays. What used to be thought as conspiracy or crazy now has become more and more sane. The twilight zone is starting to make sense. Orwell society is starting to come true. And the ones who see it or point it out are shuffled away into the extremist category.

But isn’t that what usually happens? The truth is hidden and set away for the lie ? Voices are silenced and reputations are ruined. Because where the truth lies is power. Where the truth lies is change.

And powerful people can’t have that running around.
